Dearest Black and Red Pen Holders, Season 3 has barely lifted off, and we are rising quickly. As our governance framework approaches a working draft, we’ve been able to begin testing and implementing some of the included processes. This led to a smooth election and fluid transition for the role of Talent Scout, and an easy ratification process for Secretary and Guild Coordinator. Furthermore, as we progress to a more equitable and decentralized organization, problems of access vs. quality are rising, bringing us to better understand what it means to actively take part in governance. Samantha, EPA Coordinator, speaks to this in her update below. Despite these challenges, we are all here, showing up for the challenge, and continuing to take the Guild to greater heights.
